Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Karma Humanitarian Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.
What areas do you serve?
We serve San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties. If you are outside this area and would still like to get involved, please reach out — we are always happy to talk about how we might help.
How do I get started with a program?
The best first step is to contact us so our team can point you to the right program for your situation. You can also browse our current programs directly from the Programs page.
Is Karma Humanitarian Foundation the same as Al-Karma?
Yes — same organization. "Al-Karma" is the historical name used on the Iraq side of our work, while "Karma Humanitarian Foundation" is our US-registered legal name. These are not two different organizations; they refer to one continuous mission under two names used in different contexts.
How can I volunteer?

Where does my donation go?
