Volunteer With Karma Humanitarian Foundation

Volunteers help run workshops, support housing-counseling clients, and connect women entrepreneurs with mentors. No prior nonprofit experience required — just time, care, and a willingness to show up for your neighbors.

  • Workshop Support Help set up, greet attendees, and assist facilitators at housing and business workshops.
  • Mentorship Pair with a woman entrepreneur for ongoing, informal business guidance.
  • Administrative Support Help with outreach, scheduling, and client follow-up between sessions.

Karma Humanitarian Foundation runs two CRA-eligible program areas in one relationship: first-time homebuyer / housing counseling, and small-business coaching for women entrepreneurs. Partnering with a single 501(c)(3) that covers both community-development categories can simplify how your institution meets its CRA investment and service goals across San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties.

  • Housing Counseling Homebuyer education and one-on-one counseling, delivered in partnership with a HUD-approved agency.
  • Small-Business Coaching Business fundamentals coaching for women entrepreneurs, led by founder Ghada Allous.
